Technology has become an integral part of nearly every aspect of our lives. Our personal connections, work, and daily activities are more intertwined than ever before. In this project, I will examine the strengths and weaknesses of current technologies and develop a solution based product based on my findings.

Problem & Solution

Currently, there are no budgeting platforms that effectively cater to users of all ages and financial backgrounds. Most existing apps are designed for older, financially stable, and tech-savvy individuals. They often lack language and features that resonate with younger users. Research also shows that many users are turned off by dull designs, overwhelming numerical displays, and interfaces that are neither engaging nor visually appealing.

I created an app called Your Funds, designed with an inclusive user experience in mind. It caters to a wide range of users—from high school students and those just entering the workforce, to college students, individuals with everyday financial needs, and small business owners. Your Funds offers a clean, intuitive interface that allows users to view all their financial accounts at a glance. The app emphasizes personalization through user-centered design, offering full customization of account preferences, display modes, and dashboard elements based on individual financial goals and priorities.
